Earning himself a top ten position at the Ultimate Elvis Contest in Memphis, TN in 2009, Pete Paquette is highly regarded as being one of the top professional fifties Elvis Impersonators in North America.  Adding to his credit, he is also a two time Canadian Grand Champion at one of the largest Elvis festivals in the world, the Collingwood Elvis Festival (2006 & 2008); a title never earned twice by any Elvis tribute artist before.

Pete’s show is filled with energy, charisma, and passion.   His raw talent and years of experience as an Elvis entertainer makes his performance very professional and authentic on stage.  His energy, whether it is coming from his swiveling hips or from his vocals, never fails to shake up the crowd and leaving them wanting more.

Growing up in the small town of Vankleek Hill (Eastern Ontario) as a child, Pete started performing Elvis shows at the early age of 7. Legions, fashion shows, resto-bars, telethons and private parties where just some of the types of locations he would perform.

It was in the summer of 2003 that Pete entered his first contest at the Collingwood Elvis Festival.  It was there that he left his first impressions on those who would later become his biggest fans.  Since then, he has participated and won in just under twenty major Elvis contests around North America, skyrocketing him to great success and recognition in the business.

His musical knowledge and talent for stage performance owes a great deal to the fact that Pete holds a University Bachelor degree in Music.

Among his peers and his fans, Pete is widely known for his electrifying portrayal as Elvis in his early years of his career, however, his personification as a fifties Elvis entertainer is by far to say the least of what he does. In his shows, Pete takes you back in a dose of energy through the highlighted moments of Elvis’ career, from the leg-shaking Golden years of Rock ‘n’ Roll to the later years in Las Vegas. When Pete steps onto the stage as Elvis in the 70's, his transformation from the young Elvis to the more mature Elvis is astonishing. From his range and depth of his voice to his mannerism and the level of authenticity at which he brings to the stage when he puts on the jumpsuit are not only impressive altogether, but just as remarkable to watch as his 50's show. Pete’s Elvis show is without a doubt one not to
be missed as HE IS a rising star in the business of Elvis Entertainment.
